Tefilin & Mezuzah Checking

Upon moving into a new home, or at least once every three years (preferred once a year) it is customary to check the Mezuzot in your home, as well as your Tefillin. A skilled eye is necessary to look for any fading or missing Hebrew letters. Unfortunately many Mezuzot and Tefilin become unkosher, it is very important to have them checked.
